Boarding
B&R Kennels is a home away from home for your fur babies. All of our indoor/outdoor runs are over 20 feet long, climate controlled, and video monitored. The outdoor portions are covered, so your pet is never in the elements on a rainy or snowy day!
We try to accommodate all varieties of pets, but we ask that you be as specific as possible on the energy level and temperament of your dog when making your reservation. Also, be sure to inquire about extra walks and play times if your dog is high energy. We want their experience to be a positive one, filled with the things they love to do!

B&R Kennels Playtime!

Playtime can be an incredible part of your pets stay with us. B&R Kennels has over ten separate fenced in areas, guaranteeing a great time for your pet! Playtime is always supervised by a staff member. We recommend adding a few extra playtimes to your pets stay. It is a great way for your pet to get out of the kennel and stretch their legs! Even a single one hour play session during a week stay can make a world of a difference in your pets relaxation level in boarding! Play times can be divided and split between days of your pets stay, so a 1 hour play time can turn into 2 30 minute play times or 4 15 minute playtimes for the same cost!

Required Vaccines

B&R Kennels takes the health and safety of our four legged clients very seriously! Maintaining a happy and healthy boarding environment is very important to us! This is why B&R Kennels must ask that all dogs be current on certain vaccines throughout the length of their stay. B&R Kennels reserves the right to refuse any client without the required vaccines or if the vaccine expires during their stay. While B&R Kennels does their due diligence to check with your pets veterinarian prior to the pets stay in boarding, it is the clients responsibility to bring an updated shot record upon arrival. The following vaccines are required for boarding, playtime and bathing:

Rabies: Your pets are required by law to be vaccinated against the rabies virus. Rabies is a deadly virus spread by coming in contact with an infected animal. This deadly virus CAN be transmitted to humans.

Distemper/Parvo: Distemper and parvo viruses are deadly and can be spread via airborne or direct contact of bodily fluids. Distemper/parvo is not a vaccine required by law, however it is considered a core vaccine (a vaccine that should be given to all animals of a certain species). Both dogs and cats receive some form of the distemper/parvo vaccine.

Bordetella: The bordetella vaccination protects against canine kennel cough, otherwise know as infectious tracheobronchitis. Kennel cough is spread between dogs via particles in the environment and is similar to whooping cough in humans. If your dog is around other canines, at the park, agility course, pet store, or elsewhere, it is recommended that he/she have a bordetella vaccination. Kennel cough vaccines are not 100% effective, but will lessen the severity of illness if your pet were to contract it.
